National Green Corps

In Perambalur District, Indo trust is implementing program of National Green Corps in 250 middle / High / Higher Secondary Schools being as a Perambalur Education District Coordinator. The total number of students in National Green Corps is about 10000. In each School, teacher-coordinator is responsible for executing the program on behalf of concerned schools. It is emphasized that each citizen has responsibility to protect and safeguard from polluting the environment. The program was sponsored by Department of Environment, Government of Tamilnadu.

District Level Environmental Competition

(Supported by Department of Environment, Chennai)

 The competition would be conducted in Scout Training Centre, Perambalur every year. The events would be Quiz Program, Drawing competition, Speech Competition. The total students were divided into two groups – 6^th to 8^th Grade and 9^th to 12^th Grade respectively. The winners were divided in to two groups on sex basis – boys and girls; then distributed prizes to the winners getting first three places.
